We license more than 800 establishments that store and use human tissue for purposes such as patient treatment, organ transplantation, post mortem examination, research, teaching, and public exhibitions. The information below covers applying for a licence, the roles of people named on a licence, adding new activities to a licence, extending the area of premises being licensed, adding satellite sites and challenging HTA licensing decisions.
